CONTEXT
In August 2022, the Belarusian opposition approached the second anniversary of the 2020 protests in a moment of crisis. With a stronger, more organized propaganda narrative dominating the media landscape, the democratic leadership had struggled to set a clear agenda in the face of mounting pressure.
WHAT WE DID
To reclaim the narrative and show that the democratic movement is alive and active, we came up with the idea of a conference that will bring together opposition leaders from across the political spectrum, convening diverse perspectives on the future in one space. The event was held in-person and fully live-streamed. We used interactive tools like Slido to involve the online audience, ensuring real-time engagement.
